A well done 140th anniversary beer for sure. Wild Turkey, Cognac and new oak casks for 2 yrs deliver vanilla notes on the nose and palate with a touch of almond maybe. My favorite remains the dried fruit smells and flavors. Super dark, & 12.5% to savor.

I’m really gonna miss being the land of €1.75 post lawn mowing beer of this caliber. And yes, new glassware is all the rage these days, though this update was a year or two ago. Oh and yeah it’s still a frickin’ amazing beer.

Czech gifts. Pours crystal clear with a short lasting but full foam, good carb. Noses a hint of citrus. Palate is crisp & clean, a bit like a lager. Finishes with a hint of citrus. Marked as a fruit beer but in no way a fruit beer. A drink all day beer.

I’d yet to try this one. No the glass isn’t huge, nor the can wee. The 7 is a nod to a fruit beer with some ABV. Unfortunately I still don’t like fruit beer. Low carb, sweet and raspberries shine, but I’m just not into fruit beer. I can’t blame the build.

Prague gifts continued. This one commemorated František Moravec, Hungarian born Czech intel officer who escaped occupation 2x (UK WWII) & died in DC after serving for the DoD. The beer is built to feature British hops and celebrate a legend. A nice brew.

Gifts from Prague continued. This one is what Bohemia is known for. A light, crisp pils. Pours clear with a rocky foam and is all Pils from nose to finish. A house Pils for a warm summer’s day. At 4.7%, no need to share.

Skydive should really make this a regular offering. Number 153 checking this beer in shows it’s pretty Limdis, but a nicely built beer that earns the rating. My only offer to improve is more carb. Balanced, tasty, with a great finish. Skoden found = win.

141st checkin from a beer I gathered back in Oct, call it LIMDIS. Beer name already in use, because it’s a mighty tasty beer. Yes I’m a sucker for a DIPA, but mainly for quality. Fading foam, hazy pour, sugars on the palate, pleasant finish. Go grab one.

Had the first iteration from 2017, and this one makes me thankful I bought 2 bottles this time. Amazing nose, pours with a lasting tight foam. The palate is dreamy. A dark strong classic that fades into a buttery rum finish. Amazing. Worth €20, indeed.

Pleasant nose. Pours clear with a rocky foam that fades quickly. Citra and Simcoe dominate the palate for me which may be why it’s just ok. Balanced for 8.2%, but a bit more unfermented sugars might add some complexity and body that’s lacking.
