While celebrating, we decided it was only fitting to collab on a DIPA - to spread the love and showcase what we can achieve together. We wanted to get a little weird on this one, so we brewed complimentary DIPA's at each brewery, Aether then hit the highway with a brite tank strapped to the truck and picked up Seven Mile's brew, before blending the two fresh and packaging Fusion immediately. To our knowledge, this collaboration is the first of its kind in Australia, and we're really excited to share this beautiful beer with you!\r\n\r\nFusion pours a deep auburn gold in the glass with a big pillowy head that lingers. With high doses of New-World American hops, it opens up in the glass with a burst of juicy pineapple, before waves of citrus fruits, pine needles, dried apricots, and a subtle herbaceous spice flow through. A sweet caramel note delicately intertwines with the hoppy citrus and pine, while a hint of malt-derived nuttiness adds complexity. On the palate, the beer\u2019s higher alcohol content imparts a full-bodied richness, balancing sweetness with a cutting bitterness, characteristic of a DIPA.
