Had booked a brewpub for dinner on the Goldy but the young bloke has been crook the last 48 hours so plans cancelled. This one is a lightweight summer ale. Refreshing but pretty simple and easily smashable in warmer climes.

Sweet vanilla crème brûlée in abundance but the tea was less evident. I see what they were trying to do (I think) but maybe a coffee instead of tea could have represented dessert and coffee to end the night. Bit sweet and the 8.0% ABV wasn’t evident.

Ok but was expecting a bit more oomph. The orange is there but the hops/bitterness isn’t. Not as boozy as the 6% ABV would suggest either.
