Bottle says 2020 limited edition and 11.5%. Dark fruit and bourbon barrel nose, but not in your face. Taste is bourbon heavy and overpowers the Belgian character. Tastes more like a bourbon barleywine with a cognac finish

Had another of these from the same pack 2 years ago. Still lovely sweet malt nose with some cherry hints. Taste is more dark fruit malt taste. Effervescent and syrupy.

Bottled on 257th day of 2018. Lot 23. Tarnished gold color. Apple and light yeast nose. Light sweet apple and yeast play at each other in taste, with light bitterness also in middle.

Now in cans (has been bottles for years). Clear and yellow with big bubbles. Apple nose. Light fruit taste, also apple, but champagne like. Dry too. Not sweet, more like a brut. Alcohol well blended.

Smells of cherry cough drops, very sweet. Taste is just as dark cherry sweet. No noticeable roast after the light roast at the front. Too damn sweet though

Either you like this or not. I am with the former group. Dark chocolate with peanut butter, or Reese’s on steroids. Not actually an in your face beer. Light plus body with a nice blend of sweet chocolate malt and the pb.

A flurry of bubbles greet you in this golden hued beer. Sweet apple nose with some underlying sourness. The apple sweetness Carrie’s into the taste but the fruity melony tartness arrives and takes control.
