Drank my way thru the bar. Pours translucent pale wheat. White tea nose which lends well to the peppery esters on the tongue. If a "tea saison" is what they are going for than they succeeded and it tastes good so mission accomplished in totality

Good on Kyoto brewing for making good beer across the spectrum. Craft in large here in Japan is just getting their foothold and they are leading the way in the Kensai region.

A: looks like guava juice. No head. S: Mango and passionfruit. T: same thing as smell. Captain crunch sweetness on finish. M: light but still juicy. O: body makes it go down easy, ie not too juicy which is actually great when drinking a full beer.

Earned the Hopped Down (Level 48) badge!

It's early on the other side of the world so might as well get the feel for where Nihongoga craft is at: Traluscent gold pour. Good head. Unripe peach nose. Taste is fresh apricot pit, bit of white wine, pithy citrus. Light, punchy. Dry finish. Well done!

A lot of malt sweetness on the nose and taste. Tangerine is the major flavor that comes across some pithiness to balance. A little thin on the lighter body but makes it drinkable.

Stumbled into a craft beer bar in Kyoto. Swear to the woman that it was an accident. I just have a sixth sense maybe even a seventh sense with these things...pretty straightforward DIPA orange and rind. Well balanced tho and super drinkable.
