That’s a great wee drop. Earthy gritty roast elements, gentle on the bitterness - really comes together well. Very easy drinking - only lacks the creamy vibe of a G, a Murphys or a Snug. But this lives up to the old school Guinness big time.

Drinking straight after a Small Gods / Zeelandt Brunhilde’s Fate - the McLeods is an altogether silkier smoother affair. Less bite and grit to it so in some ways it’s the same beer with the volume turned down, in others it’s a more refined take.
