A 3.7% bitter with a big chewy feel. The flavours are mild/ruby style and I really didn’t enjoy it. Understandable why people are labelling it ‘fruity’.
Ed Nixon is drinking an Antler by Exmoor Ales at Ashby Road Sports Club
Heavily malted dark winter ale. Definite marmite tone. A bit easier drinking than hobgoblin but slightly more bitter. Slight fermented plum.

Ed Nixon is drinking a Ghost Ship by Adnams at Ashby Road Sports Club
Light, golden, summery pale. Pretty easy going but the flavour still identifies clearly as pale ale. Tastes exactly on the money for 4.5%, just strong enough. Borderline a bit too light and watery.

Smooth. Easy on the hops and subtle, heading towards pale ale flavours. Very drinkable for a golden.

Classic light pale ale. Quite a soft and rounded flavour, perhaps because of the low strength? Not exactly Christmasy?
Earned the Tower of Beer (Level 44) badge!Ed Nixon is drinking a Back In The Habit by Church End Brewery at Ashby Road Sports Club
Very smooth. Tangy bitterness. Otherwise clean tasting. Seems to be a very good example of its ilk.
Ed Nixon is drinking a What The Fox's Hat by Church End Brewery at Ashby Road Sports Club
Smooth English pale. Light on flavour. Close to bitter. Easy drinking with enough pale hops to keep it interesting.
Ed Nixon is drinking a Vicars Ruin by Church End Brewery at Ashby Road Sports Club
Very smooth and light. Definitely a blonde/pale ale, not a bitter (Untappd description). Served cold, it’s a great summer drink.
Ed Nixon is drinking a Gangly Ghoul by Greene King at Ashby Road Sports Club
Slightly sweet. Toffee and Christmas cake notes. Slight malt.
Ed Nixon is drinking an A Right Royal Occasion by Church End Brewery at Ashby Road Sports Club
Smooth, full bodied, savoury bitterness. Tastes stronger than it is. Deep and interesting.

Slightly feety on the nose. Not too sharp (explained by 3.6%) but still deep, hoppy and interesting. Good sweetness / bitter balance.
Earned the Photogenic Brew (Level 12) badge! Earned the Draft City (Level 9) badge!
Hoppy, savoury flavour. Light but still carries its flavour clearly. Only 4.0% - it could get away with more.
