Beautifully clean Helles, biscuity sweetness, lemon, melon, touch of spice, then a really satisfying crisp finish, they really do make some outstanding lagers here, some of the best I’ve had outside of czech/germany

Shines even more on draft, a new batch with some tweaks apparently, lovely fruity nutty character, gorgeous mahogany colour, not a million miles away from an authentic bitter, maybe the yeast is still a little bit clean

Very authentic interpretation of a Czech tmavý, bready, brown sugar raisin, plum, tiny hint of smoke, absolutely delicious

Earned the Lager Jack (Level 42) badge!

Nice and soft, heather, tiny touch of red fruit, light, the yeast is too clean and just isn’t characterful enough, not enough lovely old school esters

Earned the Cerveza Matador (Level 12) badge!

Honey, floral, bready, caramel, the yeast is very clean and there isn’t enough ester character to be authentic, not enough earthy English hops to give a complexity and bitterness finish, still it’s a very nicely made and sessionable beer

Very light for a rye lager, lovely rye spice and biscuity malt base regardless, they really do well with their lagers here
