Patio beers on our last night on the Big Island. Eating fresh fruit, listening to the ocean & drinking this IPA. Sorta malty sweet with some stinky cheese hop bitterness. Probably a little past it’s prime, but hop flavor is still strong.

7 months old. From a fridge from a good bottle shop at least. Hops smell a little vegetal. Similar in taste with some English malt backbone. Into finish. It tastes a little turned, so I will not rate.

Orange zest smell. That continues into taste with some eucalyptus taste with bitterness in back into a lychee taste in the finish. A nice an interesting IPA. Great flavors with hopping that compliments those flavors.

Craig S: …The hops kicking in after that so you know it is an IPA. But still tangy into finish. But that hoppy lime tang is pleasant. Good after a 16 hour day driving and chasing volcanos.

Not really milkshakey but has some lactose creaminess. Hints of lime tartness, passionfruit sweetness and a bit of hop bitterness. Not bad for something we picked up at the only gas station still open after we left Volcanoes National Park.
