I reckon I only ever have Black Sands beers at 16 Tun 😂 But despite my skepticism, there's some proper grassiness and oiliness here! It's a decent Fresh Hop™ beer but lacking in body – just a touch light.

Not as malty as some previous travellers will have you believe. It's actually beautifully balanced and tasting ultra fresh. As a Fresh Hopâ„¢ beer I'll be parroting myself by saying it's lacking, but I really enjoyed this one.

The final act in Auckland is trying some Fresh Hopâ„¢ beers at my favourite bar. A few here I wanted to try but wasn't sure about, like this one! Definitely enjoy a hoppy black beer but there's nothing Fresh Hopâ„¢ about it. Mixed emotions. Yum though.
