Paradox Beer Company (Colorado) by Skully Barrel No. 17

Tyler M. is drinking a Skully Barrel No. 17 by Paradox Beer Company (Colorado)

Base like a full bodied dry white wine with apple notes. Lots of sourness and hops on top of that. Very tasty. Not very yeasty though. Pucker Up (Level 9) Earned the Pucker Up (Level 9) badge!

Points for creativity, but I just don't think that this combination of flavors goes very well together. Not bad-tasting, but unimpressive.

Stone Brewing Co. by Ruination Double IPA 2.0

Tyler M. is drinking a Ruination Double IPA 2.0 by Stone Brewing Co.

Hoppier and better than the original. Pine nose, non-grapefruit citrus body and strong bitter/sour finish that I can't quite identify.

Boulevard Brewing Co. by Saison-Brett (2015)

Tyler M. is drinking a Saison-Brett (2015) by Boulevard Brewing Co.

Nicely balanced Brett and hops leading to a very coherent and interesting flavor. Nose like an IPA. A bit over-carbonated.

De Struise Brouwers by Black Damnation I - Black Berry Albert

Tyler M. is drinking a Black Damnation I - Black Berry Albert by De Struise Brouwers

Very well integrated blackberry notes in a slightly woody brew with heavy mouthfeel. Not really worth the extreme price though. Belgian Holiday (Level 3) Earned the Belgian Holiday (Level 3) badge! Hopped Up (Level 6) Earned the Hopped Up (Level 6) badge!

Prairie Artisan Ales by Prairie-vous Français

Yeasty, lemony, and light, like a sour witbier. Not super interesting, but refreshing and tasty.

Brouwerij De Molen by Tsarina Esra

Tyler M. is drinking a Tsarina Esra by Brouwerij De Molen

Medium bodied and smooth with tons of malt, almost molasses-like, with some chocolate.

Brasserie Cantillon by Rosé de Gambrinus

Floral nose, juicy foretaste, and dry, sour finish. THIS is how you make a fruit beer that isn't too sweet!

Evil Twin Brewing by Even More Jesus

Tyler M. is drinking an Even More Jesus by Evil Twin Brewing

Good date-like fruit flavor with a thick body, but both too sweet and too boozy. Heavy Weight (Level 16) Earned the Heavy Weight (Level 16) badge!

Avery Brewing Company by Mephistopheles' Stout

Tyler M. is drinking a Mephistopheles' Stout by Avery Brewing Company

Thick and woody. Coats the tongue. Very good but IMO doesn't quite have quite the intensity of flavor to justify the 17.5% ABV Sky's the Limit (Level 16) Earned the Sky's the Limit (Level 16) badge!

Evil Twin Brewing by Imperial Biscotti Break

Tyler M. is drinking an Imperial Biscotti Break by Evil Twin Brewing

Smooth and rich with caramel flavors. American Craft Beer Week (2015) Earned the American Craft Beer Week (2015) badge!

Modern Times Beer by Black House (w/ Coffee, Toasted Coconut and Cocoa Nibs)

Tyler M. is drinking a Black House (w/ Coffee, Toasted Coconut and Cocoa Nibs) by Modern Times Beer

An improvement on the base brew. Slightly fuller body and the cacao nibs add some depth. Tanginess starts to feel out of place now though.

Roasty and a little tangy. Tastes much lighter than the most would suggest. Good but not great.
