German pasta and German cheese with caramelized onions - a pairing made in heaven. Terrific Munich malt depth with a nice caramel finish. Could drink this all day long.

Heavy roast on the nose. Simultaneously sweet and clean-finishing. Roast is subtle on the tongue. Absolutely the standard for the style. Ahh, pining for the old days at the bier garden in Portsmouth!

An IPA with some caramel from Munich malt. No. Wtf is this abomination? It's either a shtty märzen or a shtty IPA... regardless, it's shtty from style perspective. Maybe someone will like this, but... no.
