Chase is drinking a Nanook 65 by Lat 65 Brewing Co. at Alaska Airlines Board Room
An inoffensive golden, and a good way to start a trip to Adak. It's light and good for a morning beer.
Chase is drinking a Tucher Helles Hefe Weizen by Tucher Bräu at Ol' Heidelberg Cafe
A nice hefe that went great with a schnitzel! Not too bold, but a pleasant flavor.
Chase is drinking a Mara-garita by Girdwood Brewing Company at Girdwood Brewing Company
I thought I'd get a pint, but I'm glad I tasted it first. They meant sour! It was a little too tart to have a pint of it, especially to have with dinner. I definitely could taste the margarita influences.
Chase is drinking a Sakura Stout by Kiuchi Brewery at Untappd at Home
La Bodega beer club October beer 1 of 5, catching up. This is a smooth, malty, roasty, tasty stout. Not thick and viscous, surprisingly light mouthfeel for its color and aroma. Enjoying the notes of chocolate and toffee.
Purchased at La Bodega
David Little: …you got a nice glass, baby! Yeah, I checked it out.
Chase: That's OK, you can check it out all you like! But maybe we're a bad omen, all the tulips in our cabinet are from breweries that no longer exist.
David Little: You might be the coolest Sextons I know.
Since Alaska Air was offering an N/A option, I figured it couldn't hurt to try. Kölsches aren't normally known for their alcohol content anyway. But this still tasted impressively normal, and wasn't a half-bad kölsch.
