Thor E Isaksen is drinking a Brooklyn East IPA by Brooklyn Brewery
Citrusy, light floral a bit piney, and earthy hop aroma, with a caramel, grainy whiff; crystal malts on the palate, with a firm taste of citrusy hops towards the end, and a nice bitter sting, and not too shy off a crisp finish.
Thor E Isaksen is drinking a Påskeøl (2024) by Kinn Bryggeri
Aroma of orange, piny, earthy hops and toasted grains; broad, sweet, malty, biscuity palate, with light tones of caramel and orange marmelade, and a balancing, fruity bitterness. Great and rustic kind of IPA. Great hop combo.
Thor E Isaksen is drinking a Rothaus Pils / Tannen Zäpfle by Badische Staatsbrauerei Rothaus
Clean, grainy nose, with hints of apples and herbs; light sweet, malty palate, vague hints of light syrup, whitebread and caramel, with a clean, pronounced hoppy bittering, and dry finish.
Hints of green grass, lemon and raspberry on the nose; light palate, vaguely malty like a pilsner, with distinct taste of modern hops, balanced bitterness, more berries and a noticeable fruitiness all the way throught.
