Pretty thick-bodied but not ultimately overly sweet, the cacao is pretty prominent in this and even lends a slightly fruity acidity to the beer. Good length of flavour, too!

It’s been a minute since I last had this, but it’s still as good as I remember it. A lovely WCIPA with a good malty base and a lingering piney bitterness.

Hugely hoppy and very fresh; despite being now a month old, it’s still a little hop-scratchy in the back of the throat. Bright citrus flavours like pomelo, lemon, and some orange aromas. Tasty, but still a bit “green”.
