This may actually be a five star. Perfect winter warmer, complex, you definitely get chocolate with just the right amount of bourbon. Despite high ABV it retains a full body and overall a damn good beer.

Ain't mad at it. Pours the color of dookie. Has hints of bourbon, vanilla, and pumpkin.

A good doppelbock. Glad to see the style being brewed in this area. The bar for this style of beer is set incredibly high by Aventinus. Would be nice to get more esters and phenolics with the German style yeast.
