Need to revisit this in bottle, didnt come together well for me, couple battling flavors for sure. Old oak with the sweet flavors of the oatwine seemed disjointed, a slight rest to combine could certainly benefit this.

Love the blend of barrels, letting the brandy fruitiness on the front end, but allowing oak and barrel to shine on the back. Would have loved a beefier barleywine to stand up to the barrels, but great blending going on here.
