Roscoe Williamson: Love that beer. And the barrel aged version was amazing.

Moderately sweet, easy drinker with a nice bready finish.

Molasses nose. Flavors a complexity of sweet, bitter, toffee, oak. Thinner but with a fuller mouthfeel. It was better fresh but fun to drink something made in December 2026

I dig the new Fat Tire recipe. It retained most of the flavor but with less richness. Fantastic.

End of an era? Haven’t tried the new one yet. Fat Tire was my granddad’s favorite, and it was the last beer I ever had with him. Fat Tire was also my first ever craft beer. Cheers to the memories!
Bottled 07-06-21. This is better than I remember it fresh. It’s like the best flavors of Dr. Pepper melded with forward yet zero-burn bourbon notes. Full but not heavy mouthfeel. Sweet but just moderately. Pity this is my last bottle of it.
