Actually, I dig. I mean, the chili absolutely dominates all, but I prefer it in ipa than say, a lager. At least there's a bit of a backbone. It's mostly chili juice, but I kinda like it.

I was expecting something much heavier. This was kind of... Light for a double! Green grape and honeydew melon, but also a lot of soda bread. The malt gave it a nice balance.

Really great nose upon opening it up (of course, it's a backcountry so opening it up means getting a bunch of beer on your fingers). Initially i thought it was great. A little more chemical when it warmed up a bit though. Taste that alcohol.
