Rich dessert stout. Notes of nutty chocolate browny. But after 4 years aging, I would have expected a bit less alcohol bite? 14% is just too high for me with this style. Too rich & too syrupy.

Clean, light, effervescent on the palate. I’m getting the crust of a sandwich wheat bread. Leaves a slightly bitter, soapy residue. But otherwise, perfectly enjoyable. Perhaps feels more like a standard Pils than a Czech Pils.

Lovely effervescence! A strong cereal graininess, with some yeasty funk that borders on old hay. It finishes more bitter than I’d expect for the style. But it’s got personality! Not my favorite. But I appreciate it.

Semi-sweet, full bodied, rich apple flavors. Nice semi-dry finish. Some champagne-like qualities.
