Yeah it's quite good. Light heat intermingling w/ smooth chocolatey stout profile. Mildly sweet once the palate adjusts to the barrel presence. It checks the boxes but seems no more than the sum of its parts. In short: very good but not a standout.

Boooooooozy. Like, really delicious but the potency gets in the way more than I prefer. The flavors are rich but balanced and honestly really fun. It's a sipper and luxurious. Might age great. For now, not a world-beater but it doesn't need to be.

Hmm. So, it's good, right? But also, super sweet. Thing is, PR pastries have always been sweet, but they achieved a revisitable balance in that sweetness that made those beers great. But the last several are like melted candy bars in a not great way. 😕

Exemplary. Maybe not b1 levels of mythical but we know emotions tied to old fond memories tend to inflate over time. Comparison is ultimately a failed enterprise. The bottom line is this beer is so delicious: brandy booze linger, viscous, inviting, 🤌🤌.

Solid new place in Green Lake. Excellent space, decent beer, beautiful Friday evening with a great crowd. Food can improve but I'd come back.

Michael N.: I'd like to revisit, though. Might just a tweak of the mood that's the difference between this being fantastic and "merely" quite nice. Didn't want this coming off like a complaint!
