Man, where do you start with this one. Super interesting. Nose is really funky. I get some seaweed and balloons (that’s a first). Taste is much more subtle. Tartness that’s typical and a slight bitterness. Fun one.

Super mellow, bitterness on the finish. Ok. Some herbal notes.

OG whales. 2008 and still holding up surprisingly well. Little bit of cardboard, but honestly less than expected.

This is a monster, but not sure it’s greater than the sum of its parts. For 21% it hides it well. Booze on the nose, but the flavors of dark chocolate, vanilla, and subtle coconut hide it. Sweet but not cloyingly so. Really fun beer.
Bottle
