Peter Hauschild: These biblical brewers just took Helles and made it more better. It's not a huge departure. It's a subtle change that elevates the style to a new level. I'd like to think they were guided by the lord to bestow this Xmas gift upon our undeserving palates
Peter Hauschild is drinking a Kombine 2025 by Brouwerij St.Bernardus at The Brewer's Kettle - High Point
What do you get when OG brewing monks from Germany and Belgium get together? You get this very fruity take on a Helles. It's got all the deep yeasty breadiness punctuated by citric acidity that comes across more in MF than flavor. It's a divine pairing.

Peter Hauschild is drinking an Owlimony by King Canary Brewing Co. at The Brewer's Kettle - High Point
An orchard full of blended stone fruit on the beak. There's lots of talon towards the finish where grapefruit peel and pine notes rip right through the fruit inflicting some lupulin damage. Those that don't fly away will find balance deeper in.

Peter Hauschild is drinking a Brown IPA by Lucky City Brewing at Lucky City Brewing
Killer earthy IPA with tons of peppery and pine notes leading. Minor citrus rind sticks around the sides while the malty component takes hold. A bit of brown sugar. Toffee. Firmly hoppy fade.

Josh Morin: Cheers bro! If we can connect I have several beers for you
Peter Hauschild: Wow thanks! I'll let you know where I'm gonna be.

Justin Brigham tried to pack as many brownies in here as possible. He wound up having to substitute the dense chocolate pastry cause he couldn't catch his original intended adjunct... um... Let it sink in. Too soon?? Still a helluva beer.
