Calusa Brewing by Dry Hopped Pilsner

Fisherman J. is drinking a Dry Hopped Pilsner by Calusa Brewing at HorrHouse

Can

Late check-in. If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a gajillion times: Can we please stop the hunt for the perfect session IPA? It exists. It’s called a pilsner. This one’s even a little closer by way of its dry-hopping. Very nice.

Late check-in. Lightly hoppy lager. Solid. Interesting collaboration series to make different style beers w/ different brewers but under the same name. Thanks, Jared L.

Fisherman J. is drinking a Flatt & Scruggs by Bangin' Banjo Brewing at HorrHouse

Can

Late check-in. Didn’t record the batch date but this one’s been sitting in the fridge for a while. I dig the name and label art. The beer was solid, if unremarkable, and likely a little past its peak. Alas. Thanks, Jared L.

Late check-in. Collab with Saint Somewhere and Late Start. It’s tart-funky. Brewed with real pre-red-tide (I hope) Gulf water.

Angry Chair Brewing by Yah Yah

Taster

Late check-in. Because honestly, I’ll try any and everything the Brewski Boys (Marcus!!) touch around here. Murky AF and more sour than sweet (guava) but still damn good.
