Never heard of 'cold ipa' as a style before trying this, and what an introduction. Dry and crisp like a lager, with all the fruity hoppy goodness of the best ipa. Truly wonderful, and my new go to from Zichovec. Brilliant.

Warmed up to this on the second can. Really does smell and taste like a mid strength stout. However, I really fail to see the ultimate point...just because you can, does it mean you should? In this case, it was nice, but pretty much pointless!

I feel unfair rating this down, as I drank it and it made me merry. Very much so. But this is too thin (as other drinkers have noted) and tastes more like a weak approximation of the style than representing it. A shame. Still, strong enough to get pissed!

Bonkers idea, just how I like em. The oak adds vanilla, and leaves a pleasant aftertaste akin to a stout. I don't drink much lager, but if I ever see this on tap somewhere, I'm having it. Interesting, and better than just a strange idea.

I guess I'm so used to dry hops, but fresh hop beers never tasted as good. This is a passable pale, but lacks any intensity of flavour. Still, citra always delivers, so what fruity flavour there is, is nice. Decent, and light.
