At least Untappd haven’t reclassified this one yet…give it a couple of days😡 Penultimate 3 Hills(the last is a 750ml, so will wait🥴) You know the score by now as they rarely change! Super rich chocolate torte, liquidised! 11%?!?! Pure decadence 🇬🇧

BANANAVK - Banoffee Pie by Three Hills Brewing

Friday big boi…Complete with matching glassware, works for me! Once again I can’t fault it for being a “Ronseal” stout! Banana, caramel, chocolate, some vanilla, a real mouth coating beer. Finishes with just a hint of booze. 2 x 3Hills left 👋😢🇬🇧

Not sure I’m sold on Kviek yeast, it gives a very distinctive flavour, along with the blueberry from the mosaic hops, there are orange peel notes. Quite a long bitter finish. It’s ok for a #supermarketsweep beer but not a fridge filler 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

A ⚠️ of sediment, which is nice, but there was none 👍 a little carbonation & thin with zero head. Classic English brown ale traits with a rich malty flavour. Another excellent example of style from these guys 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Super lively pour 😞 Very little on the nose. As usual with the BPAVK series the flavour is spot on, although not the usual depth. A tad metallic aftertaste. I expect a very rich, creamy stout from hills & this one doesn’t quite make it 🤷🏼‍♂️🇬🇧
