Brent Barrett is drinking a Flower Town by Sonnen Hill Brewing at TAKANOYA (高野麦酒店)
Impeccable! A damn near perfect farmhouse ale. Slight aldehyde nose with every element of a farmhouse you’ve come to know and love with a little hint of banana as well.

Brent Barrett is drinking a Yumoya by NUDE BEER at TAKANOYA (高野麦酒店)
Incredible hazy. Excellent citrus notes as well as an effervescence at the end unlike anything I’ve experienced with a hazy. Seek this one out if you can.

Brent Barrett is drinking a RiVER RUNs THRU IT by Derailleur Brew Works at Stand Umineko Koto (スタンドうみねこ コト)
Smooth and approachable for such a high ABV. Not overly syrupy as to be expected by Japanese imperials at this point. The smokiness is present but not overstated. Worth a try I’d say.

Brent Barrett is drinking a Makikaze IPA (巻風IPA) by Ishinomaki Hop Works at Stand Umineko Koto (スタンドうみねこ コト)
Presents as a nearly perfectly balanced IPA. Nice amount of hops and a perfect crisp/bitter ending.

Surprisingly good compared to the non export beers. Porter like qualities but a light slightly hoppy finish.
