Lizzy Garcia is drinking a Persian Lager by Back Home Beer at Untappd at Home
Nose is sweet malt, honey; stone fruit, corn, candy as it warms. Flavor is fresh bread, honey, and a nice touch of salt. Finish is quite astringent; lightly bitter & refreshing.

Lightly smoked aroma, with the strange BO & boiled vegetable aromas that come with a smoked Helles (not off-putting; just what it is). Flavor is much smokier than the nose suggests, but really nice campfire to offset the sweet lager. Bitter herbal finish.

Smoked ham on the nose; bacon as it warms. Flavor is lightly smoked, a little tangy, dark caramel. Great mouthfeel. Finish is pleasantly meaty-smoky-sweet.
Lizzy Garcia: Vincent J. - 👊 Cheers to Franconian beers 🍻 ! We found a place in NYC that has tons of Rauchbier on draft and in cans 😁
Vincent J: Wow that's a fantastic discovery! 🍻
Lizzy Garcia is drinking a Dark Lager by Forest & Main Brewing Company at Alphabet City Beer Co.
Smells like coffee & roasted malt. Flavor is ZOMG so roasted... like liquid charcoal briquettes. Light sweetness as it warms. Lightly roasty-sweet finish. So my mouth screams porter, but my brain understands it's a dark lager; very clean & dry.
Faintly smoked, poultry aroma with honey, lemon. Flavor is gently smoked in the background, with chewy biscuit flavors. Finish is lightly bready-tangy & astringent, with a touch of smoke. Reminiscent of Schlenkerla's Helles back in the day
