Ashnil Lodge in Maasai Mara is our home for a couple nights, with canvas covered rooms. The cold nights were wonderful sleeping, the best I’ve had this whole trip. As for animals: cheetahs, hyenas, hippos, etc. And beers, this Tusker had the most body.

On to Maasai Mara, the Kenyan part of the Serengeti. This pair of Serval Cats were rare, even our guides were pleased we stumbled on to them, mewing like house cats to each other. Back at Ashnil lodge, we try some more Kenyan beers.
