Nice fall feeling day enjoyed on the DE deck with a great view of the mtns and Trolley water tower. One good thing happened during the pandemic - DE began to can HP beer! Unfiltered, WC IPA that has some citrus rind and bitter, dank hops. Another winner!
Small batch brewery in Napa Valley. Loads of tannin and oak. Who ever said "If you want something done right do it yourself" was right on point. Thank goodness for a couple of unique ales to help with my jaw clinching stressed out morning.
Triple fermented (French oak foudres, Pinot noir and whiskey barrels w/Brett and other critters). Can definitely detect the Brett funk but the Pinot helps to balance it out. Sipper. Looking forward to changes as it warms
Welp. After a good beer experience today & the DJ sippers I decided to ripcord the sour after TT so eloquently described it as oregano and basil. No tomato meatball whatsoever. Quite quaffable. The name should be Caprese.
