Yeah, alright 🙄. I tasted IPAs in the old days. They didn’t taste like this. They weren’t sweet caramel overloads with barely any bitterness or detectable hop character. Closer to an American Red than anything else, and it makes me sad.
Backlog last night. Can’t say enough good things about this. It’s firmly on the beer side of winey beers, Tilquin’s classic minerally funk is pronounced. But the winey notes are there and this is fun to dissect.Earned the Silence of the Lambics (Level 62) badge!
