Final beer at the old gaff is a fitting send-off! This is the best UK beer this year, no one else is brewing like this right now, just raw hop aggression. Remarkable that their stuff keeps this well for this long too!

Purchased out of morbid curiosity more than any expectation, surprisingly it's actually pretty good. Has some decent body and creaminess that Verdant haven't done for a while, like Sharks the flavours are also sufficiently punchy

Thickness can't touch the original versions but flavours here are actually very nice - if this is what Verdant are now I'll begrudgingly take it vs what some of their peers have become

Pretty good Track gold top - good amount of body, soft maybe a bit muted flavours, not too sweet as these sometime are. Lighting is bad - it looks better than the pic!

Kept a can back to see if that slightly rough finish mellowed out - it has, but it's also gone quite sweet which is unwelcome. Still decent, but the score takes a big hit Vs fresh
