Not quite my favourite flavour profile to make it a world beater, the grassy, grapefruit, vinous elements mask just slightly the peach, & orange sherbet notes I really like. The porridge oats are doing wonders, padding the body out to almost double digits

Not over bearing in terms of the smokiness, & the fruity sweetness balances nicely to make this a quaffer. It’s just the mouthfeel that is a bit too slight, blind tasted I’d say this is closer to 6%, but everything else is on point.

Can see why people like this, it’s as close to a Rar beer as you’ll get in the UK. Heavy saturation, with a mix of pepper spice, & burn. Not overpowering though, there’s enough fruity sweetness to not put casual craft connoisseurs off.

Malt bomb, woody, with light spice, & plenty of smooth brown bread on the finish. Not particularly hoppy, feels old skool, as close to cask beer as you’d get from the can. Thought it was great.

Just nice, nowt special, & in no way anniversary worthy. Got a nice combination of tropical, citrus, & vinous flavour, all sugar coated. But this is a microcosm of the UK haze scene in 2025, serving as a reminder of how much better it was 5 years ago.
