haw thorne is drinking an All India Permit by Garage Project
Hazy orange w a cm of w head. Aroma of citrus, chaat spices & powders w their tangy bite, wheaten crackers. Pretty much how it tastes - the chaat flavours (although not the crucial crunch) give way nicely to tropical fruit & tidy bitterness. Refreshing.

It's tasty & big but what impresses is the clear & balanced Belgian & Scotch Ale touches - rich & malty, q yeast influenced, both hoppy and estery spicy. & then decisively bitter. & then that it's hearty & Christmassy without being loaded w actual spices.

Murky brownish orange w a small white head. Aroma of tinned passionfruit & gooseberries, crackers. Smooth texture is juicy not chalky. Fruity with some moderate burning herbal notes, moderate bitterness. Not q my sort of thing but hazy fans will like it.
haw thorne is drinking a Bubul by Jarrah Boy
Clear pale gold w a frothy white head that lasts well. Aroma of crackers, citrus rehydration salts, hints of the named beach succulents. Light bodied, clean dryish. The succulents add a drying note as well as salt & emphasise the moderate bitterness.
Black with a coat of tan head. Fudgy aroma with deep roast, dried banana, Indian sweetshop spices, liquorice. Silky with chocolate, brioche, roast, liquorice then firm bitterness and a little burst of alcohol. Good but strong for what it offers.
