Tropical fruit cup aroma w herbal tinged bitterness overmatching it in the taste. Didn’t quite do it for me.

Pinnacle Drinks Group (Woolworths) by Culture House Raspberry

Raspberry is vaguer than suggested by aroma but sits well w mild tartness. Refreshing enough.

Bridge Road Brewers by Posse Summer Ale (2019)

Do cloves, pepper, tropical bubblegum. Refreshing but the off dry finish means I would have liked a little more bitterness. Still, good.

Zytho Brewing by IPA

For a Woolies cheapie very impressive. Perhaps a little light for an IPA but clean wi nice citrus & tropical notes, some resin, decent malt

Akasha Brewing Company (Australia) by Hop Barrel Summer IPA

Fine hop aromatics (gfruit, melon, pineapple) but a lack of action from the malt side makes it a bit raspy @ end despite medium bitterness.

Wildflower Brewing & Blending by St Phoebe 2019

Mainly raspberry aroma but light bread, apricot stones & twigs + a little bitterness assert themselves. Balance of sour, funky, jammy. Good.

Still loving this one, just a little less than i used to. Still like how the vanilla and softness yield to a stinging bitter and roast end.

Rügener Insel-Brauerei by Baltic Farm

Honeyed hay, spices, lemon. Heavy w borderline harsh medicinal yeasty notes, lighter citrus & spices, mod bitterness. Didn't quite cohere.

KAIJU! Beer by Signal Sun

Pineapple, mandarin, light biscuit, some pine near the bitter end. No real contribution from the malt. Not a session beer by palate or ABV.

Caught toffee, chocolate: certainly malty but not that sweet. An earthiness I didn't like. Then a decisive bitterness tied things up well.

Ocho Beer by GREEN - Spring Seasonal IPA

Piney aroma w light bread, tropical notes (passionfruit, pineapple) that kind of ooze through after the pine. Alive. Uncrowded palate. Good.

Brouwerij Oud Beersel by Bersalis Sourblend

A: lemon & the barn, some crackers & spices. Rather dull caramel sweetness w more interesting things. Lightly sour & bitter w spice. Only OK

Dainton Brewery by Red Eye Rye

Seems to be 5.5% now. Put Dainton on the map & seems to have canned fine. Some oranges, crust, rye spiciness, snappy bitterness.

Mash Brewing by Teckno Viking Kveik

Taste has punchier & more complex citrus than aroma with dried & fresh peel as well as spices. Dryish end. Good, interesting.

Red Hill Brewery by Christmas Haze

Q wit-like aroma w some funky twang but fruity & spicy bitterness roars through. Tasty but (unusually for Red Hill) lacks nuance.
