haw t. is drinking a Bravo (2017) by Firestone Walker Brewing Company
Not so Bourbon and oak dominated as the aroma suggests. Needs the hops (had I another I wouldn't hang onto it). Holds the booze pretty well.
haw t. is drinking a Fixation IPA by Fixation Brewing Co
bb10/17. Floral, citrus, some tropical & piney notes. Enough bread crust. Bitterness not excessive. Seemed softer on tap, but is also good.
haw t. is drinking The Heart by Hop Nation Brewing Co
Citrus and some tropical notes, barely enough biscuity sweetness. A little austere for me, but well done. Enlivening.
haw t. is drinking a Premium Lager by Coopers Brewery
Too fizzy in bottles. A little of the distinctive PoR bite, but mostly clean and bland.
haw t. is drinking a Young's Double Chocolate Stout by Charles Wells Brewery
Yabbut still prefer bottles. One I've expected to cool on for a long time, but haven't.
haw t. is drinking an Orval by Brasserie d'Orval
Another 8/16 bottle. Again surprised at how hoppy it is. Good stage with the brett stating to kick in.
haw t. is drinking a Hoptimum (2017) by Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.
SN are back in the _saddle_ with this one. Lighter malts, some booze, a melange of citrus. Pretty good.
haw t. is drinking a Franziskaner Hefe-Weissbier Naturtrüb by Spaten-Franziskaner-Löwenbräu-Gruppe
Can, a little undercarb'd. Bread, cloves, lemon, banana. OK, nice drying finish.
haw t. is drinking a Tongerlo Bruin by Brouwerij Haacht Brasserie
Dried fruit, bread, earth, mild roast. Dries out enough. A more than solid cheapish dubbel.
haw t. is drinking a Xtra Pale Ale by Hobart Brewing Co.
Fresh, pungent Tassie hops with citrus, flowers, pepper, earth, berries. Rustic, strong bitter finish Good.
haw t. is drinking a Schneider Weisse Mein Aventinus (TAP6) by Schneider Weisse G. Schneider & Sohn
Strong bread and crusts, cloves, mild dried fruit incl banana. (Gets too prominent for me when less fresh). Spicy, almost sour tangy end.
haw t. is drinking an Aunt Sally by Lagunitas Brewing Company
Really quite watery. Sweet and slightly tart apricots, orange that is indeed chewable vitamin-like, long left over lemon juice. Dull.
haw t. is drinking a Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier Dunkel by Bayerische Staatsbrauerei Weihenstephan
Spiced bread, tangy wheat, some stewed fruit. Solid refreshment but not a patch on the normal hefe for mine.
haw t. is drinking a Kriek De Ranke by Brouwerij De Ranke
Plump cherries, surprising toffee note. Sourness is modest but settles on the ti[ of the tongue right at the end. Typically convincing.
haw t. is drinking a Beer Camp Golden IPA (2017) by Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.
Lemon, boiled grapefruit, some herbs + tropical fruit. Not much behind. Clean, dryish finish with bitterness that fades slowly. Pretty good.
