Surprisingly low on pineapple (hardly able to tell it exists at all), and overpowered by the bitterness some tripels have. It's alright but not worth a repeat.

Interesting. It's A Lot of everything, and often that leaves beer too cloying for my taste, but the wine barrel taste really does balance it in an odd way. The more I have, the more I like it, and barrel aged stouts usually do the opposite for me.

Quite a lot of maltyness and a medium-high amber bitterness. Pretty good balance overall.
