Greg: John R. Hi John. Congratulations! My son got married last fall - what a special time as parents. Downtown SF used to be a must do. Now, post covid, it’s in rough shape. A few breweries have closed there. Anyway, Fieldwork Brewing Co brews great beers…..
Greg: John R…..and Fieldwork has many locations and a few that will be close to you in Walnut Creek. If you have extra time, Russian River Brewing Co makes highly acclaimed beers. It’s north of SF, near Napa in case you’re going there for wine country
Greg: John R. If you do go downtown, 21st Amendment Brewing is solid. Bartlett Hall is a pretty great beer hall - I go there whenever I’m in the city. When at restaurants or beer bars, look for Russian River’s ‘Pliney The Elder’, a world class double IPA.
Greg: John R. PtE isn’t super easy to find, but it’s out there. If you don’t find it, you can find it at SFO at Farmerbrown, a restaurant/bar at the airport.
