Amazing. You definitely can taste the effects of the long aging as the beer warms up. LOVED it as it rose to near room temp! All of the complexity came out as it got warmer. Chocolate notes and syrupy mouthfeel. Incredibly delicious and boozy. So good!

As far as chocolate-themed stouts go, I’ve had better. I feel like they could have put a touch more cinnamon to really capture that “Mexican” chocolate vibe they were going for. Sweetness level is perfect though.

Oh my, this is good. Real good. The peppers are quite subtle, I wouldn’t mind if a tad more of their flavor came through (like Chilebeso does, for example). But nonetheless this is a beautiful brew. The low IBU really complements the other flavors well.

Orange rind and bitters are the dominant flavors when sipped cold. As it warms, a little more character comes out— sweetness and dark chocolate. Reminds me a little bit of a Terry’s chocolate orange ball. Not bad!
