The best Aussie brewed BA beer I've had to date. Thick, rich, vanilla, dark chocolate and bourbon. Brewed and aged to a standard I never thought I'd see in an Australian BA beer. Up there with higher quality US stouts. Seek this one out.

FLN. At first a bit underwhelming but opened up as it really warmed up. Subtle cherry, caramel, toffee. Very good 👍
Dougal S is drinking a Bliss Mountain by Seeker Brewing
FLN. Surprisingly underrated. This really is up there with US hazies. But it's a different flavour profile to what Aussies are used to I guess. Great hop presence, citrus, dry on the finish. Seeker, please keep doing to this standard.
Dougal S is drinking a Thundertaker (2025) by Revolution Brewing
FLN. Another winner from Revolution. Big on dates, raisins and really pronounced bourbon. All in harmony and done very well. It does taste a bit more like a BW than a stout. Overall, superb.

LCI. Great to revisit this. The usual Trappist flavours done very well. Very tasty 👍
Dougal S: Before anyone asks, yes it's better than Deeds Fray from 20 and 21, Forgotten Casks and Uber Stone. Seriously impressed with this one.

Jamie S: Cheers for the heads up. Had Apostatise from Lone Gum previously and it was phenomenal. Just ordered this and the barleywine from the Unit Three online store.

Dougal S: I did have the Barleywine as well. It's very good but I don't think is the same standard as the stout. I did want to try the Apostate but I never saw it online with them.
