Finally, we’ve reached the end, and man was this worth the wait! A sweet, hearty nose leads to a rich, full sip that carries the best of the wood character without the harshness or bite. Proof positive that the Jukes are doing amazing work!

This is the barrel I was most looking forward to, and it definitely holds serve with the Elijah Craig, but it’s still really delicious even as it doesn’t quite nail it. Huge caramel, wood, and booze on the nose, even as the sip falls a bit short.

WHOA. I know I haven’t sampled them all yet, but this is going to be tough to beat. An amazing nose with the right balance of wood and vanilla gives way to a caramel sip that carries just the right amount of char and still remains silky smooth. Amazing!

First taste of the series! The barrel character is unmistakable, but also not overwhelming. Huge notes of caramel and a dash of char complimenting the raisin character that pops from the base. Hot damn, this is tasty.

Hot damn, this is really coming into its own. Nice sweet character from the grape playing with the base, and wood and honey melding perfectly.
