Richard Booth: It's a shame that they don't do anything even decent anymore. It seems to be something they think is craft delivered from their brewery/wholesaler

David Tattersall: Totally agree. I only went in for a pint of Chinwag. Can’t believe they have replaced a local beer with generic overpriced rubbish.
Richard Booth: It's not a gastro pub anymore, It's a restaurant with a bar that serves cocktails and they've got some beers. The guy who used to own it was interested in beer (Pomona island cans in Helmshore was revolutionary). Agree tho why replace locals?
David Tattersall: Absolutely he definitely knew his beer and had a great selection of cans. Kept me going through lockdown especially with his growler fills. You are right it is more like a cocktail bar. Cost me £9.50 for an IPA and a J2O !
Richard Booth: Not eaten there in a while but I remember thinking "how much?!?? For a burger".
