Brew By Numbers by 10|11 - Coffee Porter - Mokonisa

Rerate because somehow this one comes together much better than january's keg. Smells like a vanilla-heavy imp stout but doesnt hit you over the head with abv and booze. Works well!

So coffee, so cocoa, super drinkable but really stays interesting, it doesnt always have to be an imperial stout to get loads of flavor. Well done!

Nice and refreshing, very good for the abv.

Brouwerij Alvinne by Cuvée de Mortagne Sauternes

das A. is drinking a Cuvée de Mortagne Sauternes by Brouwerij Alvinne at Au Coin Mousse

Hm. I really like this. Alvinne needs more quads and barleywines! Smells and tastes a little like a light version of the cuvee d'erpigny, much less umami, good fungus, nose hints at sour body but sweet quad takes over instead. Nice.

Père Jakob by Ambree

das A. is drinking an Ambree by Père Jakob at Au Coin Mousse

Very fresh-hop style amber, not as dark as i expected but super drinkable - how are all these session beers coming out thr romandie all of a sudden? Smells tea like and leaf hoppy, body is good and finish is light fudge. Really good package.

Brasserie du Virage by Tangente Pale Ale

das A. is drinking a Tangente Pale Ale by Brasserie du Virage at Au Coin Mousse

I normally like virage for the crazy stuff but this is a good drinking pale, somehow feels old fashioned west coasty, a little grassy, a little piney, a little grapefruit peel, assertive bitterness and full carbonation. nice.

Fourpure Brewing Co by Flatiron Red

das A. is drinking a Flatiron Red by Fourpure Brewing Co at Au Coin Mousse

This is a really good drinker, caramely sweetness and some woody tannins from the amber but clean bidy nonetheless. Classic old school american hoppy nose, good bitterness. All day.

Brasserie de La Pièce by Petite Bertha

das A. is drinking a Petite Bertha by Brasserie de La Pièce at Au Coin Mousse

If i liked the style, this one would be really great. Smells like a good pale ale or ipa, pronounced mix of resinous pines and mild fruit, typical new england oat nose, body is super light and refreshing. Perfect to be working with but i'm still not a fan

Dont know what to make of this. Really nice acidity with nothing to back it up. Lots of dms-like corn on the nose, even aftertaste is boiled corn to me, smells a little homebrewy. Not for me.

Brouwerij Boon by Kriek Mariage Parfait (2016)

das A. is drinking a Kriek Mariage Parfait (2016) by Brouwerij Boon

Huh. It seems like i never rated this so far. One of my favorites ever. A tad too young, a little watery, lots of marzipan, full body despite the dryness, just the perfect drinker.

Brouwerij Omer Vander Ghinste by Cuvée des Jacobins Rouge

Sesame and oxidization, surprisingly acidic, all around a more aggressive version of duchesse.

Brasserie Trois Dames by Satellite, Orbitale: Rhubarb Brett IPA

das A. is drinking a Satellite, Orbitale: Rhubarb Brett IPA by Brasserie Trois Dames at Satellite

Wow, what a difference a couple of months make. Now much more pronounced rhubarb in the aftertaste, nose is trois dames funk. This is super drinkable all of a sudden.

das A. is drinking an Abbaye de Saint Bon-Chien (2013) by BFM (Brasserie des Franches-Montagnes) at Satellite

Mildly oxidized metal nose, lots of alcohol fruit, prune, apricot, very dry now, lots of ovomaltine-maltose in the finish now. Long lasting alcohol, solvent, maltose nose. Some bitterness still? Nice!

Brouwerij de Molen by Mean & Green

das A. is drinking a Mean & Green by Brouwerij de Molen

Very interesting, cant decide if i love this or hate it. Smells of spices, booze, pine needles, looks horrendous, finishes a little hot and fusely. So confusing.

Super gusher, smells a little like an infection - saison yeast maybe? Coats the mouth with hop pellet essence, quite hoppy, really unbalanced. Not my thing.
