Rerate because somehow this one comes together much better than january's keg. Smells like a vanilla-heavy imp stout but doesnt hit you over the head with abv and booze. Works well!Earned the Verified Adventure (Level 43) badge!
Hm. I really like this. Alvinne needs more quads and barleywines! Smells and tastes a little like a light version of the cuvee d'erpigny, much less umami, good fungus, nose hints at sour body but sweet quad takes over instead. Nice.
Very fresh-hop style amber, not as dark as i expected but super drinkable - how are all these session beers coming out thr romandie all of a sudden? Smells tea like and leaf hoppy, body is good and finish is light fudge. Really good package.
I normally like virage for the crazy stuff but this is a good drinking pale, somehow feels old fashioned west coasty, a little grassy, a little piney, a little grapefruit peel, assertive bitterness and full carbonation. nice.
This is a really good drinker, caramely sweetness and some woody tannins from the amber but clean bidy nonetheless. Classic old school american hoppy nose, good bitterness. All day.Earned the Tower of Beer (Level 4) badge!
If i liked the style, this one would be really great. Smells like a good pale ale or ipa, pronounced mix of resinous pines and mild fruit, typical new england oat nose, body is super light and refreshing. Perfect to be working with but i'm still not a fanEarned the Riding Steady (Level 97) badge!
Mildly oxidized metal nose, lots of alcohol fruit, prune, apricot, very dry now, lots of ovomaltine-maltose in the finish now. Long lasting alcohol, solvent, maltose nose. Some bitterness still? Nice!
Very interesting, cant decide if i love this or hate it. Smells of spices, booze, pine needles, looks horrendous, finishes a little hot and fusely. So confusing.Earned the Hopped Down (Level 21) badge! Earned the Going Dutch (Level 7) badge!
