I’ll admit it. I have a love affair with Westbrook. Those folks seldom hit a sour note, except when they want to! Pop a couple of these on Christmas Eve. Relax by the fire. And wait for Santa to come Ho Ho Ho You!

You say you’re old school. You say you like your New England DIPA hazy, hoppy and as bitter as a spinster left at the altar when her fiancé runs off with her sister. You say you want so much pine you think you’re drinking a Christmas tree? Here it is!

Well, it’s drinkable. It goes down easy. I’m not getting much nut or fluff. It’s decent, but not distinctive. Which is cool. Not every brew needs to jump on your back and ride you to nirvana. Some just give you the needed buzz in a pleasant package.

I closed out Thanksgiving with SG’s Cherry Cobbler and I’m opening Christmas with their Peach Cobbler. I gave the Cherry a big number, but the Peach is even better. I’m tempted to say, It’s Peachy keen!, but I won’t. But it is!

It’s leftover day! My cook makes the leftovers appealing to the eye as well as the stomach. She did a fine job this year! And I found my favorite Cherry Cobbler. It’s tart, smooth, and full of fruity goodness. I like leftover day better than the real day!
