Strong coffee, milk chocolate + dark pit fruit nose. Some leather, cookie crumble & smoke. Hint of ethanol. Taste largely follows. Rich, full-bodied MF. Cola-like middle precedes dry, bitter, boozy finish. A bit brash, but overall appetizing RIS.

Ticking off international check-ins as I step away from beer ratings for a bit. This is a serviceable black lager from Brazil. Moderate roast, high drinkability, fleeting afters. Fun to try once, though not sure I’d revisit.

Red grapefruit, orange blossom, floral hop. Some taffy, melon fruit + peppery spice. Hint of lemon candy. Taste mostly follows. Full bodied, super juicy MF, zesty middle, resinous, bone dry finish. This is 8 months old & still holding up surprisingly well

MacIntosh Apple, cut grass, graham cracker. Some navel orange, caramel + herbal hop. Hint of black tea. Taste largely follows. Medium MF, crisp carbonation. Prickly bitters with semi-dry finish. Is it an APA or EPA? Either way, this is a solid quaff.

Lime juice, agave, orange popsicle nose. Some table salt & grainy notes, though no malt in this. Taste follows + mild tartness. Light bodied, juicy-tart & acidic MF; savoury, off-dry finish. Drinks just like a margarita. Respect to this innovative brew.
