Had this the first time just about 6 years ago in Kuala Lumpur, of all places. It’s still as special as I remember it. Heavy, moody, decadent stout, with that chilli just present enough to keep you keen.

Not terrible, but a bit hollow. Starts like Castle Free, nice on the nose. But thins out on the tongue in a fizz of bubbles and finishes much like soda water.

Like Rum & Coke, but coke in a glass only rinsed with with a dribble of rum. Overly sweet, thin body, not even a wisp of oak chips, fizzy, cloying. Just the one for me, thanks.

The closest to the alcoholic counter part I’ve ever found in a non-alcoholic version. Appearance, nose, mouthfeel, and even the palate would fool me. There’s just something lacking in the finish, a hollowness? That gives it away.
