Light carb, dry and sour. Smells like cherry and blackberry, tastes like blackberry, cherry and funky fruit baskets: straw, hay, mulchy berries and hints of white wine vinegar. Quite subtle, for all that.

Rich and dark chocolate without too much sweetness. A touch of tart fruit from the casks, but its generally all very well integrated - berries and chocolate.

At first, liquified liquorice. As it warms, chocolate brownies, rich chocolate sauce and building jammy edges. Surprisingly unboozy despite it being really boozy.
