Renegade Brewing Company by Redacted Rye IPA

“A little wheat-y”, says Kate. Bright orange zest/pith on a thin and not entirely coherent body. A little messy at the finish, not bitter. Not amazing but kinda crushable, tbqh.

Yeah…not great. Palatable, inarticulate sweetness, mushy body, lingering unsatisfying bitterness. But I’m not crushed.

Not upsetting. Bitter enough, a little hollow, persistently sweet. Rice-Cakey and I want to say rusty, but not offensive. It’ll do.

Wooof that’s a big boy. Dessert beer for sure—rich, heavy, felted, velvety, silt. Not getting as much vanilla, but a cocoa liqueur that might be too oily. Strong.

Very nice—velvety sweet start, light/medium body, a little molasses, coffee and smoke; fizzy, toasty finish with a touch of green, piney hops.
