If you like your IPA’s mild, sweet and juicy, then this is going to be a winner. The fact that this packs a hefty punch too only sweetens the deal. It does have a slightly hoppy and boozy aftertaste though that reminds you that this is no session beer.

I do love a wheat beer, do I was intrigued to try a Spanish take on the style. It’s pretty dark, and the initial taste is promising, leaning towards the German style. Disappointingly though there’s not much end product.

Well balanced with a moderate maltiness. Good quality, but a bit weedy strength wise for a best bitter.

The almonds seem to take a back seat behind the vanilla and coconut. They’re definitely present though and offer a good counterpoint to the sweetness. Despite its strength it’s sweet, moreish and very likeable.
