Currently opens to a unique smell of black currant squash, ripe cherries & flat white coffee. Taste is a tart black currant & raspberry mouthfeel, which turns to a milk chocolate & coffee aftertaste. One of the oddest beers I've ever had!

Christopher Corben-Green: Hi Rob,hope your night is going well. When I was s student in early 2000's I remember the likes of this and Stella was the only thing a large number of pubs sold! Those dark days put me off beer for ages!
Rob Jackson: It was worse in the late 70s before the real ale revival began. But I know what you mean.
Christopher Corben-Green: I've heard a lot about beer in the 70's, they make the alcohopop days sound optimistic!
Slices open to a smoky smell of melting caramel, a boozy warmth of mulled wine & a bag of fudge. Taste is the fumes of barrel aged running over a chocolate caramel mouthfeel, fading to a creamy fudge aftertaste.
