Chris B. is drinking a South West Sour by Colonial Brewing Co at Stokehouse
A sour without tartness that makes you wince, so good for a few.
Chris B. is drinking a Miss Pinky by Boatrocker Brewing Company at Brother Burger and the Marvellous Brew
Pleasantly tart, but the lack of alcohol very apparent so almost cordial-esque.
Chris B. is drinking The Matriarch by CoConspirators Brewing Company at Beer DeLuxe - Federation Square
Thick. Bursting with flavour. Fruity. A delight. Wonderful cloudy colour.
Chris B. is drinking a Beechy Summer Ale by Bridge Road Brewers at Beer DeLuxe - Federation Square
Hoppier and punchier than a normal summer - ideal for autumn!
Chris B. is drinking a Charmer India Red Ale by Wayward Brewing at Belgian Beer Cafe Melbourne
Cracking red. Really smooth, flavoursome without dominating food. Not too strong to stop you having a few.
Chris B. is drinking an Asahi Super Dry by Asahi Breweries at Asahi Draught Beer Station
This is more about the machine. Came out with the perfect head. Usual Asahi crisp taste, and would have scored highly but for....plastic!!
Chris B. is drinking a Kitchen God (灶君) by Moonzen Brewery at Beef & Liberty
Not bad. Light enough to accompany food rather than be a meal in itself. Flavours don’t dominate what you are eating.
Chris B. is drinking a Hoegaarden Wit / Blanche by Brouwerij van Hoegaarden at 华侨城洲际大酒店 InterContinental
A solid witbier in all respects and gently pleases on the palate, but a few craft witbiers have its edge
Chris B. is drinking a Gold Ale by Sample Brew at Marquis Of Lorne
Hops very dominant. Great if that’s what you fancy.
Chris B. is drinking a Noble Boy Pale by Noble Boy at Rose Street Artists' Market
Bit lacking on the taste front - beautiful colour, but that’s not enough. Drinkable though.
Chris B. is drinking a Two Birds One Goose by Two Birds Brewing at Rose Street Artists' Market
I get a tickle of aniseed too. Almost like witbier meets pastis. I like it.
Chris B. is drinking an Anileation by The Lord Nelson Brewery Hotel at Lord Nelson Brewery Hotel
Rounded taste, coffee very present. Pretty good.
Chris B. is drinking an Iron Jack by Legendary Brewing Co
Not bad, but lacking a bit of character
Chris B. is drinking a Coedo Shikkoku by Kyodo Shoji Coedo Brewery
Very chocolatey. Filling. Sweet. Like it. Enjoyed at Mugen Ramen.
Very drinkable. Not too heavy. Flavours well balanced.
