It claims the highest IBU value on the menu, but if there's a hoppy bitterness, it's hidden beneath the carmelly malt backbone. It's too sweet for an IPA, IMHO, which also lends to its booziness at 9% abv. I don't hate it, but I don't like it as an IPA.
